Purpose
-To serve the Lord and His church by pointing all people to God. This is done through the vehicle of music.
Ministry Departments
Worship Leadership
Pat Van Dyke leads the congregation and all music groups in praising and worshiping our Lord. He is assisted by instrumental accompanists, the choir and orchestra, and a technical crew that operates sound, lighting, computers, and cameras for on-screen projection.
First Clarksville Conservatory
A Christian private lesson program, providing students and adults the opportunity to study music in a church environment. Each semester students present a recital.
Music Groups
Adult Choir Rehearses Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Choir Rehearsal Room, under the direction of Pat Van Dyke. They sing every Sunday morning in worship.
Orchestra Rehearses Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Orchestra Rehearsal Room, under the direction of Joe Jerles. They play every Sunday morning in worship.
Youth Choir 9th through 12th graders rehearse Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the Choir Rehearsal Room and usually sing in the Sunday evening worship, under the direction of Steve Moore. This choir makes a mission trip each summer.
Middle School Choir 6th through 8th graders rehearse in Room 135. They periodically sing in worship and are directed by Debbie Hollis.
Joybells an adult, auditioned handbell group that rehearses on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the Handbell Room, under the direction of Don Hofe.
Childrens Choirs 3-year-olds through 5th graders participate on Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:10 p.m., learning to praise God in song.
One Voice an auditioned adult ensemble that meets on Sunday from 5-6 p.m., under the direction of Pat Van Dyke
Made for Praise an auditioned childrens group which meets on Wednesday at 4:30 in Room 107.

Music Worship Events
Childrens Choir Camp a one-week on-site time for 1st through 5th graders to learn various music related skills. The week ends with a presentation on Sunday evening.
First Christmas a musical worship experience, presented by the Adult Choir and Orchestra the first full weekend in December each year.
First Easter a musical worship experience, presented by the Adult Choir and Orchestra. This presentation features a dramatic presentation based on the Easter story.
Adult Choir Retreat this annual fall weekend event is planned to give choir members a chance to enjoy Christian fellowship and begin learning the Christmas music for that year.
